Four years later, the headlines are gone.
The hashtags have faded. And for most people, August 26th, 2021 has already become another distant footnote in a long, tiring timeline of war. But not for us. Not for those who served. Not for those who lost. And not for anyone who refuses to let the Kabul 13 be forgotten.

What happened at Abbey Gate wasn’t a mishap.
It wasn’t bad luck. And it sure as hell wasn’t just “unfortunate.” It was the consequence of cowardice in leadership, ignoring real intelligence, and sacrificing our people for the sake of political optics. We watched, in real time, a generation’s worth of effort dissolve in chaos—and 13 Americans pay the ultimate price for decisions they didn’t make.

And still, no answers.
No accountability. No justice for the wounded. No comfort for the families left behind. Not a single name of the injured echoed through the halls of Washington. And now? The story’s vanishing. The faces are fading. The names are slipping from memory.

Our refusal to let silence bury the truth.
It’s our promise to the fallen—and the survivors—that we remember. That we’re still angry. That we still care. The Kabul 13 stood their post. They upheld their duty. And we will do the same, by keeping their names alive and holding the line they can no longer stand.

Speak their names.
Share their stories. Refuse to let the world move on like it never happened.
