Most people spend their lives anchored in shallow water.

It’s safe there. Comfortable. Predictable. No storms. No risk. No monsters beneath the surface. But there’s one problem with staying in shallow water: that’s not where treasure is found.

The things worth having in life have always required a little danger. Greatness isn’t floating safely near shore with the rest of the fleet. It’s out there beyond the horizon, where the maps end, and the unknown begins. It’s taking chances. Betting on yourself. Sailing into waters that make other people turn around.

That’s what Fear No Depth means.

Too many people spend their lives afraid to put themselves out there. Afraid to fail. Afraid to risk comfort, security, reputation, or certainty. They stand at the edge staring into the dark water, wondering what might be down there.

Pirates had a different philosophy.

They knew the greatest treasure wasn’t sitting at the dock. It was hidden beyond storms, sea monsters, bad decisions, and probably a few crew members who looked suspiciously like they’d mutiny after too much rum.
