Before lightweight polymer links, push-button mag-fed gimmicks, and 3-pound featherweight belts, there was the M60E4, the final, glorious evolution of the Pig. Born in 1957, refined in the trenches, and still slinging hate in the hands of grunts with enough spine to carry her, the M60E4 was the beast we didn’t deserve, but damn sure needed.

She was loud. She was heavy. She jammed if you looked at her wrong. But when she ran? Oh, she ran like a chainsaw through Satan’s front door. Carrying the Pig meant you were either the strongest guy in the squad or the one with the least seniority. Either way, you earned your combat back pain one round at a time. And if you didn’t have asbestos hands after a barrel change, were you even doing it right?

We loved her because she was nasty, reliable (mostly), and she scared the hell out of anything on the receiving end. The feed tray would cut you. The charging handle would bite you. And the weight? Let’s just say she built character with every mile. But we’d take her again over some sleek, soulless piece of aluminum any day.

This shirt is for those of us who carried the Pig, fed her, cleaned her, swore at her, and still miss her. The M60E4 machinegunner was a damn lifestyle.
