However, many of us didn’t make it home. Not really.

The Iraq War may be over, but for thousands of veterans, the war never left. It stayed. In the quiet moments. In the dreams. In the flashbacks, the outbursts, the hollow stares. That’s the reality we don’t talk about enough and the reason we created the T/HERE hoodie.

We called this design T/HERE because every one of us who deployed left something over THERE—a piece of our soul, our sanity, our innocence. And when we got back HERE, what came home wasn’t the same version that left.

Mental health in the veteran community shouldn't be a buzzword. It’s a war in itself. And we’re still losing brothers and sisters long after the shooting stopped. The numbers haven’t gotten better. The system hasn’t fixed itself. And veterans are still trying to fight through the fog with no backup. That ends with us.

This version was designed to feel like the pages of a graphic novel—because the stories we carry feel like fiction to everyone else. But they’re real. And they deserve to be told. We aren't only trying to raise awareness. We're trying to make a connection. We want every veteran who’s struggling to know that they're not done fighting; we need them to continue doing great things.

Proceeds from this hoodie go to organizations on the front lines of the veteran mental health crisis, those who actually show up, speak our language, and help vets reclaim life after war.

We fought over THERE. Now we fight to live HERE.
