Ronald Reagan is arguably our last good president, having ended his presidency after 8 years with an overall approval rating of 68%. Tired of inept lifetime politicians, Reagan was the first MAGA president vowing to "Make America Great Again" during his 1980 campaign.

He turned around a broken economy with runaway inflation by slashing taxes. He stood up to Communism and its autocratic leaders by investing in the military and modernizing its equipment, thus defeating the Soviets and bringing an end to the Cold War. He fought the war on drugs to push back the excesses of the 60s and 70s.

Most of all, Reagan helped Americans believe in themselves once again. We believed in the American Dream once more and knew we could be greater than we had been in the previous two decades.
