Honor the Men of 3 Truck!

By DIA Apparel Co.

Changed the World Forever
The attacks on September 11, 2001, changed the face of the planet forever. A change greater than any single event since World War II. The images of the two smoking World Trade Center Towers in New York City, billowing thick, black smoke before their collapse, will be forever seared in memories around the globe.

Brave Heroes
Before the collapse of the towers, brave first responders from all over the city were attempting to rescue Americans and others trapped in the doomed buildings. The brave men of New York Fire Department Ladder 3 were part of the futile rescue efforts. Their heroism, bravery, and selflessness, in blatant defiance of an order to retreat from the smoking Twin Towers, cost them their lives as they attempted to rescue trapped victims.

Legendary Men!
- Legends who left this world too early
- Men who should be honored and remembered by all generations
- Men of a rare breed

We Salute These American Heroes
And we wish to honor their memory and preserve their legacy with the DIA 3 Truck We're Still Heading Up T-Shirt.

Never Forget These Final Words
Final words captured of Captain Paddy Brown, USMC veteran and celebrated commanding officer of Ladder 3, communicating the intentions of his brave crew:

Captain Paddy Brown / Ladder 3:
“I’m on the 35th floor, okay, okay?
Just relay to the command post we’re trying to get up.
There’s numerous civilians at all stairwells, numerous burn injuries are coming down.
I’m trying to send them down first.
Apparently, it’s above the 75th floor.
I don’t know if they got there yet. Okay.
Three Truck and we are still heading up.
Okay? Thank you.”

Command Post to Ladder 3:
“Command Post to Ladder 3, get out of the building!”

Captain Paddy Brown / Ladder 3:
“This is the officer of Ladder Co. 3. I refuse the order!
I am on the 44th floor and we have too many burned people with me.
I'm not leaving them!”

To the brave crew of 3 Truck, we will never forget you!

Honor the Men of 3 Truck and preserve their legacy by wearing the DIA 3 Truck We're Still Heading Up t-shirt.
