This hat honors their final stand. A simple but powerful reminder of courage without compromise. Men like Captain Paddy Brown, a Marine Veteran and the commanding officer of Ladder 3, who refused the order to evacuate. His last words still echo:
“I refuse the order… I’m not leaving them.”

They didn’t die looking for glory. They died doing the job, because that’s what real heroes do.
